What we provide

The Technology Transfer Centre (TTC) at the SCSTI provides to the universities, institutes at the Slovak Academy of Sciences and other public research institutions the complex support in the technology transfer process in the framework of the National technology transfer support system.

Support services

These services cover the whole technology transfer process – from the research results identification suitable for industrial property protection and commercialization, evaluation of technology benefits and implementation of IP rights protection (fulfillment of IP subject matter application and its submission) through marketing technology presentations, partner search for commercialization, drafting of license agreements and creating of spin-off companies. Part of these services creates also fees reimbursement for intellectual property protection, including maintenance fees for granted patents, registered utility models, designs, trademarks etc. In the framework of support services we offer also disposable and interim state-of-art searches (confirmation of technology novelty) for designs and trademarks, competitor activities and legal status of protective documents. All support services for public and research institutions are free.

Sample documents

TTC at SCSTI offers also sample documents that are used in the whole technology transfer process for the adjustment of the stakeholder relations (agreements, contracts) or they serve as the internal regulations for academic institutions. After appropriate service ordering the sample documents can be modified according to actual requirements. All registered users have the possibility to use all documents for purposes connected with the technology transfer implementation at the Slovak research institutions.
